Personal Dashboard Design
The goal of this project was to design a personal dashboard showcasing eight daily activities. The primary challenge was to balance aesthetic appeal and user-friendliness while adhering to GUI and psychological design principles. The assignment emphasized creating a visually engaging, responsive dashboard that could adapt to desktop, tablet, and smartphone displays. Additionally, the dashboard required light and dark modes, detailed data visualization for one activity, and a personal avatar.
Why this project?
This project demonstrates my ability to design aesthetically pleasing, functional, and adaptable interfaces. It showcases my skills in applying psychological and GUI principles to create engaging designs. The inclusion of light and dark modes, responsive layouts, and interactive data visualization highlights my attention to detail and user-centric design philosophy. The neobrutalism style pushed me creatively, making this project a unique and standout piece in my portfolio.

Role and Contributions
This was an individual project where I took on the full scope of responsibilities, from initial concept development to final UI design. I was responsible for all aspects of the project, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, and visual design.
Design Approach
I focused on a neobrutalism design aesthetic, utilizing bold colors, sharp contrasts, and clean lines to create a striking yet intuitive interface. I designed the dashboard to allow users to customize their background colors, making the interface more personal and engaging. The detailed data page incorporated interactive graphs and visualizations for enhanced clarity. Responsive design was achieved by creating adaptive layouts tailored to each screen size, ensuring a seamless experience across devices.
The Solution
To address the requirements, I developed a high-fidelity prototype of a personal dashboard that features:
Light and dark modes for visual adaptability.
Customizable background colors for personalization.
A responsive layout for desktop, tablet, and smartphone displays.
A detailed data page for one activity with daily, weekly, and monthly views.
A personalized avatar to enhance user connection with the dashboard.
