Role and Contributions
This was an individual project where I took on the full scope of responsibilities, from initial concept development to final UI design. I was responsible for all aspects of the project, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, and visual design.
Design Approach
I focused on crafting an interface that targets university students struggling to maintain a healthy diet alongside their busy schedules. My design followed GUI principles, ensuring clarity and accessibility. I introduced AR features for meal recognition and created detailed nutritional insights in a visually digestible format. My design included a vibrant, modern colour palette for engagement and an intuitive layout for seamless navigation. Weekly sketches and task analyses shaped the final product, ensuring user-centric solutions.
The Solution
I developed a high-fidelity prototype for the food diary app, featuring:
AR Food Analysis: Users can capture images of meals and receive instant, accurate nutritional data.
Food Diary & Calendar Integration: A seamless system for tracking meals, integrated with calendar views for better visualization.
Personalization: Tailored dietary recommendations based on user goals and health conditions.
Responsive Design: Optimized layouts for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
